NBA Market Share Report: Banking on Bradley Beal and the Volume

Why are we talking about Nicolas Batum on a very down year? Because over his past seven games he’s averaging better than 25 FanDuel points per game for an average salary of just $4,700.
That’s not to say everything is great with Batum and his fantasy outlook this season. His scoring is the lowest it’s been in a decade and his shooting volume hasn’t been this light in four seasons. Still, Batum’s versatility lends a hand in a contributing across the sheet and he’s shown the ability to give you a handful of rebounds, a few assists, and a couple steals per game.
Sadly, Batum is nothing more than roster filler this season, which is a hefty drop off from what we’re used to. Fortunately for us daily fantasy folk, a friendly salary under $5,000 can still offer decent value for a Swiss Army Knife player getting 30 minutes a game.
The Hornets hit the road to take on the Blazers, Kings, and Spurs before hosting the Kings next Thursday.
