NBA Market Share Report: Jarrett Allen Brings the Hustle and the Value
Monitor Josh Jackson
Fair warning, here: this isn’t a suggestion to roster Josh Jackson on most nights.
With that out of the way, his play during Devin Booker’s absence should not only be noted, but also closely monitored moving forward.
Jackson reached at least six-times value in five of his last seven games, and even with Booker returning to the lineup, perhaps Jackson’s strong play earned him some trust and subsequent minutes moving forward.
Having scored double-digits in six of his last seven, Jackson’s improved scoring is a breath of fresh air and he has shown his ability to contribute across the sheet with five rebounds, three assists, and a steal per game over that same span.
Again, Jackson isn’t the same option with Booker in the lineup, but he deserves some attention. With Booker in the lineup, Jackson may be low filler, but he’s an injury or minutes-easing away from being productive at a good number.
The Suns have games against Charlotte, two against Minnesota, and Portland Trail on the way.
