3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 1/24/19
Paul George, SF, Oklahoma City Thunder
Price: $10,800
With a matchup that good on a four-game slate, it shouldn't be much of a surprise we're coming back to the OKC well. Paul George is another guy who can take full advantage of the matchup with the Pelicans.
He's averaging career-high clips in all of points (27.0), rebounds (7.9) and steals (2.3) to go with 4.0 assists and 0.5 blocks per game on the year. His per-game fantasy numbers are a career high by a huge margin (48.4 FanDuel points per game), and his 1.35 FanDuel points per minute are also a career-best mark.
Those rebounds are a category the Pelicans aren't always generous in, allowing the 11th-fewest boards per game to opponent, but their total rebound rate is also 1.7 percentage points lower with Anthony Davis off the floor than when he's on.
George has topped 50 FanDuel points in four of his last five games, and he's come within 1 fantasy point point of 5 per every $1,000 in salary at today's price (54 fantasy points) in three of his last four games. Those last five have seen him average 53.7 FanDuel points per game, and he's not likely to slow down against the Pels.
