If James Harden was playing at anything close to a mortal level, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George might actually have a shot at the MVP award this season. While PG13 may end up having to relinquish that hardware to the NBA's scoring leader, George can take solace in the fact he's putting together his greatest ever season, which has helped push the Thunder to the 3 seed in the Western Conference.

George's averages of 28.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.1 dimes per game are all career-high marks (the assists are a tie). He's also setting career bests in steals (2.3 per game) and three-point percentage (41.3%), stats that rank first and 19th in the league this year, respectively. He's scored 60-plus DraftKings points six times over his past 10 games and is coming off a massive 88.5-fantasy-point effort against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.

While it might be hard for him to match that output again, tonight's matchup is good enough to at least give him a shot. PG faces a New Orleans Pelicans defense that is giving up the seventh-most DraftKings points per game to opposing small forwards over their past 15 games, according to FantasyPros. George has averaged 53.3 DraftKings points across three games against the Pels this season, scoring at least 52.0 in each game.
