3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 3/12/19

There are a couple of things working in Philadelphia 76ers guard T.J. McConnell's favor tonight. The first is the absence of teammate Jimmy Butler, who will be rested. The second is his opponent, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Butler has missed seven games since he played his first minutes with the Sixers this season. In those games, McConnell has scored more than 21.0 DraftKings points six times and still came through with a solid 18.75 in the other. He's seeing 26.5 minutes of run in those games, 5.8 more than when Butler plays.

He could see even more run tonight as the Sixers have a very solid chance of blowing out the Cavaliers, who, surprisingly, blew out the Toronto Raptors last night. Cleveland will be without Kevin Love, who is coming off a double-double but will, like Jimmy Buckets, be rested tonight.

Love makes a noticeable difference. The team has a 42.9% winning percentage and is outscored by an average of just 2.7 points when he plays. When he's off the court, those numbers are a woeful 20.8% and 10.9, respectively. As 15-point favorites at home, the Sixers are likely to continue Cleveland's non-Love woes. As such, McConnell could easily see more run than usual, solidifying him as a player you should target. We project him for 25.3 DraftKings points.
