3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 3/13/19

James Harden bounced back from one of his worst fantasy outings of the season with a reasonable 55.2 FanDuel points against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday. That's not a huge total, especially at Harden's price point, but there's no need to be too concerned.

That game quickly got out of hand, though, with the Houston Rockets leading by as much as 29 in the first half, and Harden played only 4.9 minutes in the fourth quarter. He still hit 35.0 for the game and turned in a solid fantasy outing, but obviously his upside was much higher if that game stayed close.

The blowout risk is much lower tonight against the Golden State Warriors, in a potential shootout with a 3.5-point spread. The Warriors have played at the league's third-fastest pace since the All-Star break, while also sitting 18th in defensive rating in that time.

Harden played 44 minutes in his last outing against the Warriors, and while that was bolstered by overtime minutes, 39 in regulation is nothing to scoff at, either. The presence of Chris Paul will cut into his workload some, but Harden is still averaging 54.0 FanDuel points in 36.6 minutes per game in 15 contests since Paul's return and continues to offer plenty of upside with solid volume.
