The Minnesota Timberwolves' backcourt has been ravaged by injuries recently with Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose both sitting out the last three games. In those contests, Tyus Jones stepped up and started at the point for Minny. The former Duke Blue Devil averaged over 28 minutes in the three games while dropping at least 27.9 FanDuel points in two of the three affairs.

For the season, Jones has excelled when called into starting duty, which he is expected to do for a fourth straight night on Tuesday with Teague already ruled out and Rose doubtful. In his 11 starts this season, Jones has averaged 9.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 2.0 steals in 33.4 minutes per game. That comes out to a solid 29.5 FanDuel points per start.

In a likely uptempo game against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, Jones has an excellent shot at exceeding that average. In a start against the Dubs back in November, Jones posted 33.5 FanDuel points, which would bring 7.1 FanDuel points per $1,000 of Tuesday’s $4,700 salary.
