3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 3/22/19

This time last year, Memphis Grizzlies guard Jevon Carter was guiding his West Virginia Mountaineers into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Tonight, he could be the Grizzlies' starting point guard.

Mike Conley is doubtful for tonight's game. With the myriad of injuries the Grizzlies have, they'll need someone to run the point, and with their elimination from the playoffs ensured, it could be Carter stepping in at the one.

Carter has started three games this season and was unimpressive in the first two. He scored 24.0 DraftKings points in 34 minutes during a February 1 game against the Charlotte Hornets, however, and he has the potential to see that type of run again.

While he's a clear risk here -- he's not played since March 3 -- the Grizzlies/Magic game is fortunately the first on the slate, so we should know well in advance whether or not he's getting the starting nod. If he does, then he offers solid potential at the minimum $3,000 salary. We currently project him for 17.0 DraftKings points in 24.5 minutes of run.
