The Wizards drop into our "dead and dying" tier this week after hanging around in the "bubble teams" section longer than they probably should have. They're now six and a half games out of a playoff spot with only eight games left to play, so they're pretty well toast.

The Hawks officially got eliminated from playoff contention this week, joining the Bulls, Cavaliers, and Knicks. It was only a matter of time.
