Troy Brown, SG/SF, Washington Wizards
DraftKings Price: $4,900
Washington Wizards forward Troy Brown had already seen a big increase in minutes over the past couple of weeks, but on Sunday, that playing time jumped into the next level.
Brown saw 42 minutes of run in the Wizards' somewhat shocking 95-90 away win over the Denver Nuggets. He finished with 24 points, 7 boards, and 38.75 DraftKings points. While expecting that output again would be asking a lot, there are reasons to believe it's possible.
One of the most noticeable changes in Brown's game over the past two contests has been his three-point shooting. After making just 11 threes in his first 46 games, Brown has made eight in his past two. The team is letting him shoot at will, and that makes him more appealing on DraftKings with its 0.5-point bonus for treys.
The other big plus for Brown tonight is that the Wizards are facing the woeful Chicago Bulls, a team Brown put up 26.0 DraftKings points against in 30 minutes on March 20. Our models expect him to see 34.1 minutes of run tonight, and we have him scoring 33.5 DraftKings points in the process.
