Just like many other non-playoff bound squads, the Los Angeles Lakers have treated the last week or so as essentially a tryout for their younger players. One of those guys seeing a bump in action in L.A. has been Jemerrio Jones.

Jones has played at least 25 minutes in each of the last three games for the Lakers, even earning a start on Sunday versus Utah. He has not finished with more than 5 points in any of the three, but Jones’ value comes from his ability to fill up a stat sheet, especially with rebounds. In the last three games, Jones is averaging 11.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. He has collected at least 20.9 FanDuel points in each game including a massive 39.7 against Utah.

With another start likely in the works for tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers, Jones is a near-must start on an 11-game slate with a price tag just $100 over the minimum.
