Jonathon Simmons, SG/SF, Philadelphia 76ers
DraftKings Price: $3,400
Again, our top seven value plays of the night are on the Warriors. Go hog wild. I'm going to highlight another player for this third slide. That player is none other than Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Jonathon Simmons.
The former Orlando Magic player hasn't seen a ton of run since being traded to his new team. In fact, his minutes have dropped from 20.6 all the way down to just 13.6. Last night -- and likely tonight -- was a different story. With the Sixers locked into the number 3 seed in the Eastern Conference, they have the luxury of resting their players, and so they did.
While Philly started Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons, and Jimmy Butler, none saw more than 21 minutes in a blowout loss to the Miami Heat. Simmons was second on the team in minutes played and had a solid all-around game, putting up 14 points, 2 boards, 8 assists, and 34.5 DraftKings points.
It would be odd if any of the Sixers' regular starters played tonight against the woeful Chicago Bulls, and Simmons would be a strong candidate to enter the starting lineup and have another big game.
