DeMarre Carroll

DeMarre Carroll (5.8 nERD) might be the most talked about free agent on this list. However, he may be getting overshadowed by Paul Millsap's free agency of his own. That's beside the point. Carroll would be a valuable player for any team to acquire this summer.

Carroll is now 28 and in the prime of his career -- that's evident from his numbers a year ago. Carroll averaged a career-high 12.6 points per game on 48.7% from the field and 39.5% from three point land (also career-best numbers). As a result of his improved jumper, Carroll finished with the best Offensive Rating (117) and Offensive Win Share total (4.3) of his career.

Carroll is an elite 3 and D player, and that's why it's going to be hard for the Hawks to hold on to him. Sources say the Hawks are expecting an asking price of 4 years and $50 million, but if it's more they might have to pull out of the race for Carroll's services. Detroit, L.A. (Lakers and Clippers) and Milwaukee are among many possible destinations for the six-year veteran.
