Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Monday 3/27/17
With a six-game NBA DFS slate on tap for Monday, it's important to keep track of all the injury situations that could impact lineup construction. Here's what you need to know before rosters lock tonight.
Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks
Carmelo Anthony did not play on Saturday, and as of this afternoon, his status is still unknown for Monday. With the New York Knicks tanking, it's hard to gauge their willingness to play Anthony tonight even if he is close to healthy.
If he misses again, Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick Rose both gain some value and Willy Hernangomez could see some more shots on offense.
Marc Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies
Marc Gasol did not play Sunday with a foot injury and his status for Monday is also unknown at this point. Without him on Sunday, Zach Randolph got the start and was a nice play along with JaMychal Green. A big usage bump could also be expected for Mike Conley if Gasol is out again.
Gordon Hayward, Utah Jazz
Gordon Hayward did not go through shootaround this morning and he is officially questionable. If he can't play, George Hill and Rodney Hood gain some nice value while Rudy Gobert could also be asked to do more on offense.
DeMarcus Cousins, New Orleans Pelicans
DeMarcus Cousins sat out Sunday with an ankle injury and is officially questionable for tonight. If he does not play, Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday both gain a lot of appeal while Dante Cunningham could enter the starting lineup.
DeMarre Carroll, Toronto Raptors
DeMarre Carroll missed the Toronto Raptors' game on Saturday and we have yet to hear whether he will play. If not, look for P.J. Tucker to be a nice source of value.
Jeff Green, Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic have ruled out Jeff Green for Monday night with continuing back spasms. Mario Hezonja should continue seeing a good chunk of minutes off the bench as a result.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Kyle Korver has already been ruled out, while Iman Shumpert is listed as questionable. If Shumpert is unable to play, J.R. Smith could be a huge source of value while DeAndre Liggins will likely be asked to play more, as well.
San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs will only have one inactive tonight in Dejounte Murray, which means Tony Parker and Danny Green are ready to play.
Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings are actively tanking and resting guys left and right over their last several games. There has been no word on guys resting yet, but chances are there could be some late news regarding this.
