NBA Daily Fantasy Helper for the Two-Day 5/14/17 and 5/15/17 Slate
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and depending on injury news, even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer and a handful of other awesome tools to help give you an edge.
We'll also be coming at you with a primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.
Let's take a look at who you should target on the two-day slate that spans Game 1 of the West finals (3:30 p.m. EST Sunday) and Game 7 of the Boston-Washington series (8:00 p.m. EST Monday).
Best of the Best
Isaiah Thomas ($9,000): Thomas has struggled a bit since his 53-point (real-life points, that is) Game 2 outburst, but he's averaged 37 minutes per game over the last two and should be relied on heavily in a must-win affair. The Boston Celtics boast a 108.25-point implied total, the second-highest on the slate and just a touch behind Golden State's slate-best mark (110.5). Among teams on this slate, the Washington Wizards have allowed the most FanDuel points per game to point guards over the past four weeks, and Thomas' workload -- he owns a 32.2% usage rate in these playoffs -- makes him an appealing target.
