NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Wednesday 1/17/18

Golden State will be thinned out tonight against the Bulls. Who should we be targeting in DFS?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

Here, we'll put all of that together and take a look at who you should target on today's slate.

Best of the Best

Stephen Curry (FanDuel Price: $9,800) and Kevin Durant ($10,600) - Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala are both out against the Chicago Bulls, who are 24th in defensive rating over the past 15 games. Per NBAWowy, Curry's usage rate is 32.0% without those two on the court, and Durant's is 29.8%. Those aren't massive marks, but Curry and Durant average 1.40 and 1.51 FanDuel points per minute, respectively, without Green and Iguodala. As a 9-point favorite, the Golden State Warriors could see this one stick close long enough for Curry and Durant to do their damage, and the implied total of 119.5 is a full 6.5 points higher than any other team's.
