NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 11/3/18
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.
We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.
Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 7 p.m. EST.
Best of the Best
Chris Paul ($9,000): Over the last three games without James Harden, CP3 has put together FanDuel outing of 32.20, 40.50, and 66.90 points. The points increased and his price tag decreased in all three games. On Saturday, his price tag dipped another $100 -- down to just $9,000 -- and now he has a beautiful matchup against the Chicago Bulls. Paul is coming off a phenomenal game against the Brooklyn Nets, dropping 32 points and 11 assists along with a plethora of other stat-stuffing totals. That performance resulted in the aforementioned 66.9-point FanDuel outing. With that type of ceiling and usage rate (35.9% against the Nets), Paul can smash again in a great matchup, even with Harden expected to return to the lineup.
