NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 3/30/19
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.
We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.
Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 7 p.m. EST.
Best of the Best
Nikola Vucevic (FanDuel Price: $10,000) - Among the five active players priced at $10,000 or above, Vucevic is the best point-per-dollar play, per our models, and he's the cheapest of the five. As of Saturday afternoon, we have him projected for 49.2 FanDuel points, a value of 4.92 per $1,000 in salary. Prior to his 31.4-FanDuel-point outing in his last game, Vucevic had scored at least 40 fantasy points in nine straight games, with three games of at least 50 FanDuel points, including a high of 62.5. The Indiana Pacers aren't as rough of a matchup as they were earlier this season, and they've allowed the seventh-most FanDuel points per game to centers over the past 15 contests. The Orlando Magic are a half-game out of the 8 seed, so Vooch should see plenty of minutes tonight.
