NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 4/6/19
If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.
With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.
We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.
Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 5:00 p.m. EST and features two games.
Best of the Best
D'Angelo Russell ($9,000): With the Brooklyn Nets currently holding the 7 seed in the East and the ninth-place Miami Heat just one game back, Russell should be leaned upon heavily against the Milwaukee Bucks. He has scored at least 20 real-world points in seven out of the last eight games, putting up 53.0, 73.8, 45.9, 58.8, 49.6, 41.5, and 44.4 FanDuel points during that eight-game hot streak. Russell's usage rate has been sky high during that span as it's never dipped below 32.5% and has cleared the 37.5% mark in six of those games. Obviously, Giannis Antetokounmpo ($13,000) is in play, but there's a chance the Bucks rest him or limit his minutes, so keep up to date with any news on that front.
