5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/22/19

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Yogi Ferrell, PG, Sacramento Kings ($3,500)

With Cory Joseph listed as questionable for tonight's game, the Sacramento Kings could turn to Yogi Ferrell at point guard.

The Kings are on the road to take on the Brooklyn Nets in a game in which the over/under is set at 214.0 points. As of now, Joseph isn't officially ruled out, so be sure to get the injury updates prior to roster lock. If Ferrell does start, he should be one of the more popular plays on the slate since he is the minimum salary, playing up in pace against the Nets, and has a soft defensive matchup.

The Nets are allowing 51.7 FanDuel points per game to point guards this season -- the third-most in the league. This is a fantastic matchup for Ferrell, and he brings an awesome amount of salary relief along with him.

Troy Brown, SF, Washington Wizards ($3,900)

With a slate-high 234.0-point over/under, the Charlotte Hornets-Washington Wizards game is a spot to target for fantasy production.

This is a bit of a pace-down spot for the Wizards, but the over/under and the defensive matchup should allow their players to reach or exceed value tonight. One player to take a look at tonight is Troy Brown, who is usually in the starting lineup for the Wizards and plays around 20 minutes a game. He doesn't have a huge role within the offense -- only a 13.8% usage rate while producing 0.70 FanDuel points per minute -- but the Hornets are allowing 42.2 FanDuel points per game to small forwards this season, which is the ninth-most in the league.

At $3.9K, Brown needs 19.5 FanDuel points in order to reach 5x value, something that is firmly in the cards today.

Furkan Korkmaz, SG, Philadelphia 76ers ($3,500)

The Philadelphia 76ers have Josh Richardson listed as questionable for this game, opening up some potential value.

Richardson plays nearly 30 minutes a game for the 76ers and has a defined role within the offense. If he is out, there are a ton of minutes to grab along with the spot in the starting lineup, which could fall to Furkan Korkmaz. He is the minimum salary, making him the second player at that price point -- along with Ferrell -- who could be in the starting lineup. Going with a stars-and-scrubs build tonight is looking very viable due to the value we might have.

Korkmaz got the start the other night when Richardson was out but fell flat with only two FanDuel points in 16 minutes. That is bound to happen sometimes when Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons take up plenty of usage, but his salary is too good to pass up if he's in the starting five.

Langston Galloway, SG, Detroit Pistons ($4,000)

Langston Galloway is taking a ton of shots recently and is under-priced tonight.

Galloway should almost certainly be in the starting lineup for the Detroit Pistons, who are playing up in pace against the Atlanta Hawks. Playing up in pace is always good, since it presents that team or player with extra touches on the ball to rack up fantasy points. As mentioned, Galloway is taking a ton of field goal attempts lately -- 11 or more in five straight games to be exact. That isn't normally the volume of shots we see for a player who is only $4K, thus, making him under-priced.

He is up against the Hawks, who are allowing the fifth-most FanDuel points per game to shooting guards this season at 44.9. This could be the value jackpot tonight. Playing up in pace, great defensive matchup, taking plenty of shots, and should in the starting lineup -- Galloway checks a lot of boxes.

De'Andre Hunter, SF, Atlanta Hawks ($5,100)

The Hawks have a few injuries right now, which should open up the offensive chances for a few players.

De'Andre Hunter is a solid starter for the Hawks, usually playing over 30 minutes a game this season. While the minutes are good, the production often fluctuates, which is why we see him posting 0.83 FanDuel points per minute this season. That isn't great, but it shouldn't be a surprise since we know much of the offensive usage goes toward Trae Young.

Due to the current injuries on the Hawks, we have seen Hunter take nine or more field goal attempts in three of his last four games -- his highest in any four-game stretch this season. All of this has Hunter coming in as our ninth-best value option at small forward tonight.
