Harrison Barnes Over 1.5 Made Threes (+114)
Harrison Barnes has played six games this season, and he's made multiple three-pointers in exactly zero of those games. But hear me out.
Barnes is shooting just 11.1% from deep. That's horrible, and it just can't last. He's made at least 38.1% of his three-point tries for five straight seasons, and DARKO has Barnes as an expected 37.5% three-point shooter. He's going to start hitting treys.
The matchup is there for him to do it tonight. The Sacramento Kings are on the road to face the Miami Heat, and Miami has allowed the league's highest three-point attempt rate (44.9%). Plus, the Kings will be without De'Aaron Fox due to injury, opening up some shots in their offense.
We project Barnes to make 1.8 triples tonight on 4.8 tries. I love the +114 price, too.
Jalen Brunson Over 3.5 Rebounds (-142)
The Atlanta Hawks have really struggled on the glass, and it should help Jalen Brunson snare at least four boards on Wednesday night.
For the year, Atlanta owns the fourth-worst rebound rate (48.5%), and they are surrendering 6.1 rebounds per night to shooting guards.
Over his previous three games, Brunson has totaled a combined 14 boards, going for 4-plus rebounds twice.
The game environment should help, too, as both sides rank in the top 12 in pace over the last five games. That's led to a 233.5-point total. With the spread at just 2.5, this figures to be a high-scoring, close game that results in plenty of possessions overall and in lots of minutes for Brunson.
We have Brunson amassing 4.3 rebounds.
Al Horford Under 1.5 Made Threes (-122)
The Boston Celtics are on the road tonight at the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs have started really well this season, ranking second in net rating, and there are a few reasons to be on the under for Al Horford's made threes.
Not only are the Cavs third in defensive rating, but they're playing at the fourth-slowest pace. With the Boston Celtics operating at the fifth-slowest pace, possessions will be precious in this one.
In addition to that, Cleveland has been good at limiting three-point tries, permitting the third-lowest three-point attempt rate (33.4%). Centers are shooting just 29.9% from three versus the Cavs.
Our model has Horford going 1.3 of 3.8 from beyond the arc in this one.
