RJ Barrett Under 20.5 Points (-102)
After a slow start to the playoffs, RJ Barrett has come alive over the past three games, going over this line in all three, including a pair of 26-point efforts.
I don't think he can keep it up.
Over the past three, Barrett has been shooting the ball much better than he usually does, making 51.0% of his field goal tries. For the year, he shot 43.4% from the floor, and he's a 42.2% shooter for his career. In short, his hot shooting is bound to regress eventually.
Plus, it appears Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson are trending toward playing. Randle sat in Game 1 of this series and played just 16 minutes the game before that, which put more of the scoring load on Barrett's plate.
We project Barrett for 20.0 points, a shade under this line. If Randle winds up sitting, I'm not as bullish about the under, so I'll wait until Randle's status is cleared up before placing this bet.
Andrew Wiggins Over 1.5 Made Threes (-150)
The Los Angeles Lakers are a good matchup for Andrew Wiggins to get going from three. Over the final 30 games of the regular season, the Lakers gave up the 11th-most made threes per night to small forwards (2.7).
Wiggins played the Lakers twice in the regular season, and he hit multiple treys in each game, making six in all.
Against the Sacramento Kings, Wiggins averaged 5.3 three-point attempts over the seven-game series and played at least 33 minutes in six straight games to close the series.
He should be out there a ton tonight -- we project him to play 37.3 minutes -- and the matchup will likely lead to him getting several looks from deep.
Our model is a big fan of this one as we peg Wiggins to go 2.5 of 6.3 from beyond the arc.
