Devin Booker (hand) hopes to play for Suns in opener
Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker (right hand) said he's hopeful that he'll be able to play in the season opener against the Dallas Mavericks on October 17.
What It Means:
Booker was initially given a six-week timeline when he underwent hand surgery on September 10, so the opener would have him beating that date by a few days. He recently said his hand "feels great." Booker turns 22 on October 21.
numberFire's models currently project Booker for 24.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.0 steals, and 2.8 three-pointers per game in 2018-19.
