Mavericks reportedly finalizing deal to acquire Kristaps Porzingis from Knicks

New York Knicks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis is being traded to the Dallas Mavericks, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

What It Means:

The Knicks will reportedly receive Dennis Smith Jr., DeAndre Jordan, Wesley Mathews, and a future first from Dallas, who will also acquire Tim Hardaway Jr., and Courtney Lee as part of the deal. Porzingis hasn't played all season while recovering from ACL surgery and the Mavericks have no incentive to rush him back to the court.
