Elfrid Payton (ankle) will start for Pelicans on Friday
New Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton (right ankle sprain) will start on Friday versus the Indiana Pacers.
It will be Payton's first game since January 26, so the Pelicans may opt to ease him back into things. His return will mean less work for Tim Frazier and Frank Jackson.
Payton is averaging 24.8 FanDuel points in 19 games this season. numberFire's models expect him to record 11.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.1 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
