Mavs' Kristaps Porzingis (knee) a game time decision for Tuesday
Kristaps Porzingis (sore right knee) will be a game time decision for the Dallas Mavericks' Tuesday game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The good news is that Porzingis' MRI came back negative, but this is definitely a situation to monitor closely ahead of Tuesday's game. Porzingis was a very late scratch for Sunday night's game after entering the night with a 'probable' tag, and the sudden nature of his downgrade is certainly cause for concern.
The Mavericks put on a heroic performance Sunday without Porzingis, but the Mavs are generally better off with him on the court. If he is cleared to play, numberFire projects him for 35.1 minutes on the court, 23.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2 assists for a total of 45.6 fantasy points.
