Anthony Davis (quad) ruled out Thursday for Lakers versus Pistons
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis is ruled out for Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons with a right quad bruise.
Davis will take a seat after logging 34.6 minutes on Wednesday. The Lakers have been consistently listing Davis on the injury report this season, though it had previously been due to a right ankle sprain. Kyle Kuzma and Markieff Morris filled in for Davis as a starter in his two previous absences this season. Montrezl Harrell should also see more work on offense with Davis unavailable.
Harrell's usage rate rises from 19.4 to 23.7 percent in games without Davis this season. He has a salary of $5,400 on Thursday's four-game slate. Kuzma ($3,900) scored a season-best 36.1 FanDuel points in his start without Davis earlier this season.
