Suns rule out Abdel Nader (knee) Monday versus Grizzlies
The Phoenix Suns have ruled out forward Abdel Nader (knee) for Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Nader is dealing with soreness in his knee and will be forced to sit out tonight's game against the Grizzlies. Nader has played over 20 minutes in each of the Suns' past 4 games, meaning his absence should open up opportunities for other players in the rotation.
Jae Crowder could see extended work in the Suns' rotation with Nader sidelined; the veteran has seen upwards of 30 minutes in some games so far this season. Our models project him for a more modest 24.7 minutes Monday, with 19.4 fantasy points off of 9.7 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
