James Johnson (health protocols) ruled out for Dallas Friday
Dallas Mavericks forward James Johnson will not play Friday in the team's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
It's unclear whether Johnson tested positive for COVID-19 or was simply exposed, but in any case, he won't be able to suit up for Friday's game. He'll now be in the NBA's health and safety protocols, and we'll have to wait for more info to know how long he'll be sidelined. Wes Iwundu could be in store for more minutes with Johnson sidelined.
In 29 games this season, Johnson has averaged 5.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 15.8 FanDuel points.
