Will Barton (back) ruled out for Denver Sunday
Denver Nuggets guard/forward Will Barton will not play Sunday in the team's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
It's one of the stranger injury cases of the season. Barton was on the court announced as a starter shortly before tipoff, and he then took off for the locker room. Austin Rivers replaced him in the starting lineup, and the team deemed Barton questionable to play due to lower back tightness. Barton has now been ruled out, and he'll have not seen the court in a game he was set to start. Expect Rivers and Bones Hyland to see added minutes.
In 12 games this season, Barton has averaged 16.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 32.1 FanDuel points.
