Derrick Rose (ankle) ruled out for Knicks Saturday night; Kemba Walker back in starting lineup
New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Boston Celtics.
Rose is dealing with a sore right ankle, and as a result, he has been ruled out of action for the weekend. With the Knicks also dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak, they are severely shorthanded in the backcourt. That means Kemba Walker, who was previously demoted out of the rotation entirely, will start at point guard.
In 26 games this season, Rose has averaged 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 23.9 FanDuel points.
