Domantas Sabonis (thumb) sidelined Tuesday for Kings
Sacramento Kings power forward Domantas Sabonis (thumb) is out Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets.
Sabonis was diagnosed with an avulsion fracture in the ulnar collateral ligament on his right thumb after last Friday's game versus the Washington Wizards. Trey Lyles, Richaun Holmes, Chimezie Metu, KZ Okpala, and Neemias Queta are candidates for larger roles while Sabonis is sidelined. This is the first time Sabonis has been ruled out all season.
De'Aaron Fox should take on a larger offensive role with Sabonis inactive. He is registering a Kings-best increase of 6.12 FanDuel points per 36 minutes with Domas off the floor this season. Fox has an $8,600 salary on Tuesday.
