Trae Young (calf) hopeful to play Wednesday for Hawks
Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (calf) said he hopes to play Wednesday versus the Brooklyn Nets.
Young left Tuesday's game versus the Indiana Pacers late in the fourth quarter due to a left calf contusion. If the Hawks play it safe and hold Young out on the second leg of a back-to-back, his next chance to play will be on Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Dejounte Murray would have more ball-handling opportunities if Young is ruled out.
numberFire's models project Young for 36.1 minutes and 44.6 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $10,000 salary on the Main slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Hawks’ implied total (114.5) is No. 10 out of 16 active teams today, but the game total (235.0) is the second-highest on the board.
