Pistons sending Saddiq Bey to Hawks in three-teamer
The Atlanta Hawks are acquiring small forward Saddiq Bey from the Detroit Pistons in a three-team trade with the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors are sending center James Wiseman to the Pistons and receiving five second-round picks as part of the deal. Bey will provide the Hawks with points off the bench, but he might have fewer opportunities than he did in Detroit. AJ Griffin and Bogdan Bogdanovic will likely be Bey's primary competition for playing time. On the other side of things, Bey's departure means there will be more minutes in the Pistons' rotation for Killian Hayes, Hamidou Diallo, and Alec Burks.
Bey averaged 25.4 FanDuel points in 28.8 minutes per game for the Pistons this season, with 14.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.9 3-pointers.
