Timberwolves' Naz Reid out indefinitely with broken wrist
Minnesota Timberwolves center Naz Reid is out indefinitely with a broken wrist.
Reid will miss at least the Timberwolves' final five games of the regular season. Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns will likely absorb most of Reid's minutes at center, but Luka Garza could potentially see some run off the bench. The Timberwolves currently hold a 0.5-game lead over the Los Angeles Lakers for the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference.
Reid was averaging 22.2 minutes and 29.7 FanDuel points over his last five games, with 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 1.8 3-pointers per contest.
