Ricky Rubio running point Thursday for Cavaliers
Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Ricky Rubio is in the starting lineup on Thursday versus the Orlando Magic.
Rubio and Cedi Osman are replacing Darius Garland (leg) and Donovan Mitchell (finger) in the starting lineup for the Cavaliers' penultimate game of the regular season. This will be Rubio's first start of the season, but he averaged 7.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 11 games with 20-plus minutes of playing time.
Rubio is numberFire's No. 7 point-per-dollar value on Thursday. He has a $4,500 salary on Thursday’s five-game slate and numberFire's models project him for 28.3 FanDuel points over 25.9 minutes. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Cavaliers’ implied total (103.75) and the game total (217.5) are both the lowest of the day.
