Cavaliers acquire Max Strus in sign and trade deal with Heat

The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired shooting guard Max Strus in a deal involving the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

What It Means:

Strus will head to Cleveland after he signed a four-year deal worth $63 million while the Spurs acquire Lamar Stevens and Cedi Osman from the Cavaliers and send their second round pick to Miami. Expect Strus to play an expanded role at the three with his much needed perimeter shooting.

In 2255 minutes last season, Strus averaged 0.70 FanDuel points per minute and a 17.6% usage.
