Jose Alvarado (ankle) sits out Pelicans practice Monday
New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jose Alvarado (ankle) did not practice on Monday.
Alvarado is trending toward being ruled out for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Memphis Grizzlies. That would free up additional bench minutes for Dyson Daniels, Kira Lewis, and Trey Murphy.
numberFire's models project Alvarado for 17.6 minutes and 15.0 FanDuel points on Wednesday if he's cleared to play. We project him to average 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.5 3-pointers in 19.4 minutes over the course of the season.
