Santi Aldama (ankle) unavailable for Grizzlies opener
Memphis Grizzlies power forward Santi Aldama (right ankle sprain) is out for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Aldama suffered a mild ankle injury in practice and is considered day-to-day. Brandon Clarke (Achilles) is also out and Steven Adams (knee) won't play at all this season, so look for David Roddy and Kenneth Lofton to play larger roles in the Grizzlies' frontcourt to begin the year.
numberFire's models project Aldama for 8.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.0 3-pointers in 20.6 minutes per contest this season.
