Lakers' Jaxson Hayes (ankle) out Monday
Los Angeles Lakers center/power forward Jaxson Hayes (left ankle sprain) is out for Monday's game against the Miami Heat.
Hayes was downgraded from questionable. Christian Wood and Colin Castleton will have additional minutes available off the Lakers' bench Monday. Wood played 26-29 minutes the past three games and averaged 8.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals, 2.0 blocks, and 1.7 3-pointers.
Wood averaged 28.0 minutes and 25.0 FanDuel points over the last three games with Hayes active. He has a $5,200 salary on Monday's 12-game slate. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Lakers' implied total is a deflated 110.75 and the game total is tied for third-lowest on the board at 222.5. The Heat are allowing the 10th-most FanDuel points per game to centers this season.
