Trae Young (personal) ruled out Tuesday for Hawks
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (personal) is out for Tuesday's game against the Detroit Pistons.
Young was previously listed as questionable, but he will miss at least one game while tending to the birth of his second child. His next chance to play will be on Wednesday against the New York Knicks in Atlanta. Dejounte Murray will likely shift over to point guard in place of Young and see a significant uptick in usage. There will also be more minutes and opportunities for Bogdan Bogdanovic, Patty Mills, Saddiq Bey, and AJ Griffin. Bogdanovic is the favorite to replace Young in the starting lineup.
Murray has a $8,600 salary on Tuesday’s 10-game slate and numberFire's models project him for 40.6 FanDuel points over 35.5 minutes. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Hawks’ implied total (117.5) is sixth-highest on the board today.
