Vince Williams returning to Memphis bench Tuesday
Memphis Grizzlies guard Vince Williams is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Williams started the past six games while Marcus Smart was sidelined with a foot injury. The Grizzlies are expected to limit Smart's minutes in his first game back, so Williams should see extended playing time off the bench. He averaged 31.0 minutes as a starter.
Williams has a $4,900 salary on Tuesday and numberFire's models project him for 19.9 FanDuel points over 26.7 minutes. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Grizzlies’ implied total (112.5) is second-worst on the Main slate out of 14 teams.
