Lakers' D'Angelo Russell (tailbone) doubtful to play Friday
The Los Angeles Lakers listed D'Angelo Russell (tailbone) as doubtful to play in Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Russell is trending towards missing a third game while dealing with a tailbone contusion, opening up another start and night of significant minutes for Austin Reaves.
Russell had been averaging 14.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game prior to his injury. The veteran had been a mainstay in the team's starting lineups for the first part of the year, but had been working in off the bench in the four games leading up to his injury.
