Holmes has been downgraded from doubtful and will miss a second straight game. He has been an inconsistent part of the Mavericks' rotation, but Holmes' absence leaves more minutes available for Dwight Powell. Markieff Morris (illness) might also be missing from the Mavericks' frontcourt on Friday.
