Anthony Davis (Achilles/hip) ruled out Tuesday for Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (Achilles/hip) is out for Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Davis was questionable before Monday's game due to an Achilles injury and he left in the third quarter after aggravating a hip issue. He will sit out the second leg of the Lakers' back-to-back after starting 22 straight contests. Jaxson Hayes, Christian Wood, Rui Hachimura, and Jarred Vanderbilt are candidates for more opportunities in the frontcourt.
Hayes is averaging 20.0 minutes and 22.4 FanDuel points per game without Davis this season. Hachi is averaging 30.0 minutes and 40.3 FanDuel points in those situations. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Lakers-Hawks game total (246.5) is highest out of the five games being played today.
