Hawks' Trae Young (hand) to undergo surgery; expected to miss at least four weeks
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young will undergo surgery on his injured hand and will be re-evaluated in 4 weeks, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The Hawks will be without Young for at least four weeks, essentially taking the 24-32 team out of playoff contention for the season. With Young sidelined, Bogdan Bogdanovic could become an every-game starter.
Young had been averaging 26.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 10.8 assists per game with the Hawks this season.
