Jose Alvarado (suspension) back Friday for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado completed his three-game suspension and is available for Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers.
Alvarado was suspended "for leaving the bench area during an on-court altercation" in a game against the Miami Heat on February 23. His return will likely result in less playing time for Jordan Hawkins.
Alvarado is averaging 16.8 minutes and 16.2 FanDuel points per game this season, with 7.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.3 three-poiners. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Pelicans have the second-best implied total (121.75) out of 14 active teams on the Main slate. The game total (238.5) is the highest on the board.
