Tyrese Maxey (concussion) ruled out Tuesday for 76ers
Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (concussion evaluation) will not play on Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets, reports Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Maxey was hit in the back of the head during Sunday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. He was cleared to return in that contest, but after experiencing concussion-like symptoms within the last 24 hours, Maxey will be further examined. Cam Payne (illness) is questionable for Tuesday, so the 76ers may need to rely more on Kyle Lowry, Buddy Hield, and Kelly Oubre.
Payne is averaging 36.0 minutes and 39.6 FanDuel points without Maxey this season. He has a $4,000 salary on the Main slate and could be a value option Tuesday. Per our NBA Heat Map, the 76ers' implied total (109.5) is No. 9 out of 16 teams on the Main slate.
