Day'Ron Sharpe (wrist) downgraded for Nets, out again Thursday
Brooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (wrist) is out for Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons.
Sharpe has been downgraded from questionable and will miss a second consecutive game. Nic Claxton will likely draw another start at center for the Nets. He played 33 minutes on Tuesday and turned in a double-double with a pair of blocks.
numberFire's models project Claxton for 33.3 minutes and 38.3 FanDuel points on Thursday. He has a $7,500 salary on the Main slate and is currently a top-10 point-per-dollar value in our projections. The Pistons are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to the center position this season.
