Brandon Ingram (knee) out least 2 weeks for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram suffered a bone contusion in his left knee and is expected to miss at least two weeks, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
Ingram suffered the injury during Thursday's loss to the Orlando Magic. Jordan Hawkins, Jose Alvarado, Larry Nance, Trey Murphy, and Naji Marshall are all in line for more work while Ingram is inactive. Murphy is the favorite to replace Ingram in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Miami Heat.
Murphy is averaging 33.0 minutes and 28.2 FanDuel points per game when Ingram is out this season. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Pelicans' implied total (103.0) is second-lowest out of 10 teams on the Main slate today.
